GOLD

Gold Types and Standards

We primarily work with high-carat gold to ensure exceptional quality and longevity.

  • Standard: 18k gold (75% pure gold) is our standard, offering a perfect balance of richness, durability, and strength.
  • Optional: We can also craft jewelry in 14k gold upon request.

Gold Finishes

We offer two distinct finishes in our collections:

  • Shiny Gold: A polished surface that reflects light for a bright and luxurious appearance.
  • Brushed Gold: A matte finish with a soft texture. Over time, natural wear will gradually polish the surface, adding a unique character to the piece.

Gold Colors

We make everything from scratch which means that we also alloy the gold ourselves. To ensure the best quality we use new gold bars (recycled).

Our gold is available in a variety of colors to suit every taste:

  • Yellow Gold: The traditional Scandinavian gold color with even amounts of copper and silver. 24K (999) gold 76%, copper (999) 12% and silver (999) 12%

  • Rose Gold: Normally rose gold is 76% gold 24K (999) mixed with 24% copper (999).  We chose to put a little bit of silver in this alloy to create a lighter and in our opinion more delicate and softer rose gold color.

  • Green Gold: Not many people know of green gold. This is an alloy made from Gold 24K (999) 76% and fine silver (999) 24%

Silver and gold are both fairly soft which means that the green gold alloy is not as strong as the normal alloys and therefore not suitable for setting stones. We only use green gold for the CIRCLE ring to create more color options when stacking rings …

  • White Gold: Our white gold is special because it doesn’t need to be rhodium plated once or twice a year like most normal white gold does. We make our own secret white gold alloy which does NOT go yellowish when wearing.

We use palladium and our special (secret) alloy which makes the white gold harder, more shiny and permanently white.

    24K (999) gold 76%, palladium 14%, secret alloy 10%

This alloy is of course 100% allergy free.

Save time and money NOT having to do rhodium plating yearly …
